The OSATHON Marathon is a celebration of movement, community, biodiversity and regeneration on Costa Rica's extraordinary Osa Peninsula. Bringing together runners, local communities, conservationists, and supporters from around the world, the event raises awareness and funding for projects that protect biodiversity, restore ecosystems, and strengthen local livelihoods.​

It's also one of the most INCREDIBLE places to run a marathon, with unbelievable views, abundant wildlife and a challenging but rewarding route along the Pacific coast of the peninsula.

Whether you're chasing a personal best or simply running for a cause you believe in, your participation becomes part of a larger movement to regenerate one of the most biologically important regions on Earth.

All funds raised after covering the costs of the even go directly to The Osa Foundation, a Costa Rican registered non-profit that is supporting community projects on the Osa Peninsula. We will be selecting 3 incredible community or environmental initiatives that need support, and the day of the race the community will decide which project the funds will go to.
